Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated 5 Aug 2026

My Coin Partner is built to earn affiliate commission. This page states what that means in practice, and what it does not.

Current partner relationships: none

At the time of writing, My Coin Partner has no affiliate partnerships in force and earns no commission from any operator. There are no commissioned links anywhere on this site.

We are stating this plainly rather than publishing a generic “we may earn a commission” line, because a disclosure that describes a hypothetical is not a disclosure. When the first relationship begins, it will be listed here by name, with the commission model, and every page that carries a link to that partner will name the relationship in its own Partner Declaration.

What commission will and will not buy

When partnerships do begin, these terms apply, and they are the reason this page exists:

  • Commission will not buy coverage. Being a partner does not get an operator reviewed, listed, or written about.
  • Commission will not buy position. Ordering comes from the published rubric on our Methodology page, which does not take commission as an input.
  • Commission will not buy a rating, a recommendation, or the removal of a criticism. If a partner has a documented incident history, it appears on the page whether or not we are paid.
  • Commission will never appear in Education or Security content. Our Blockchain Education and Security Tips coverage carries no commissioned links at all. This is enforced in the page templates themselves — a sponsored link placed in that section is stripped when the page renders, not merely discouraged by policy.

How you will be able to tell

Three signals, on every page:

  • A Partner Declaration panel above the body, stating how that specific page is paid. It reads from a per-page field, so a page cannot fall back to a vague site-wide sentence.
  • rel="sponsored" on every commissioned link, so the relationship is machine-readable as well as human-readable.
  • This page, listing every relationship in force.

Other revenue

We currently run no display advertising, no sponsored placements and no paid listings. If any of those begin, they will be labelled as such, kept visually distinct from editorial, and excluded from any ranking or comparison. A sponsored placement will never be presented as a review.

Why we bother

The crypto comparison category is full of ranked lists whose order was decided by payout rates that are never mentioned. That is not illegal in most places and it is very common, which is precisely why stating the opposite clearly is worth something. If we ever fail to live up to this page, it is a legitimate reason to stop trusting the rest of the site — and we would rather be held to that than be vague enough to be safe.
